Floor-Mounted Fire Extinguisher Pedestal

This floor-mounted fire extinguisher pedestal provides a secure, highly visible mounting solution wherever wall mounting is impractical or undesirable. Common applications include open-plan offices, glass or drywall partitions, outdoor spaces, waterfront docks, and construction sites.

Built for durability, the pedestal is fabricated from heavy-duty 304 stainless steel. It features a 1/4-inch-thick base plate with four 1/2-inch mounting holes and a 1.5-inch-diameter, 18-gauge stainless steel support tube welded to the base. The upper mounting plate is constructed from 11-gauge 304 stainless steel and finished with a welded domed cap. An 11-gauge stainless steel fire extinguisher sign attaches directly to the mounting plate for enhanced visibility.

The pedestal can be used freestanding or securely anchored to virtually any floor surface. Floor-mounting hardware is not included because the appropriate fasteners will vary by installation surface.

Designed to accommodate standard fire extinguishers weighing up to 20 pounds. The fire extinguisher and its mounting bracket are sold separately. Hardware for attaching the extinguisher bracket to the pedestal is included.
